In A Pinch

Hey guys!!! Sorry it’s been like 40 years; college sucks. I’m almost done though!! I promise I’ll post more as soon as summer comes, it’s just very hard to balance both!

Anyways, I’m back today because I went to Target (literally 5 minutes ago) to get some last minute, new impression makeup haul. My friend only gave me 10 minutes before hovering asking when we were leaving, so I only got 6 things.

had to post right after I put all of the products on because I was so surprisingly in love with how these turned out. So I hope you find the same success with them, too 🙂

L’OREAL TRUE MATCH LUMI Healthy Luminous Makeup (W1-2 porcelain)

This foundation is amazing. Not only does it feel like nothing on your skin, it also includes SPF 20!! The application is easy, and it blends out beautifully.  It feels great on your skin and this will definitely be a go-to for summer looks.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (light/pale)

This is an oldie but a goodie. I’ve mentioned this on here before, but this concealer will never fail you. It erases dark circles and brightens up your under eyes, but it doesn’t make it look cakey.

e.l.f. Bronzer (golden)

This bronzer was perfect for a quick decision. It is super inexpensive, but it makes for a beautiful bronze. Since I chose the golden palette, the bronzer had a nice sheen to it.

e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen (black)

Okay, so this did dry really fast so it was hard to finish the wing. It’s better for framing the wing and then filling it in with your favorite liner. It was good when I just lined my upper lash line.

e.l.f. Volumizing & Defining Mascara (jet black)

Okay I was shocked with this mascara, but I was AMAZED by this stuff. It spreads your lashes, making sure you won’t end up with clumpy lashes. It really does define and lengthen your lashes, dramatically.

e.l.f. Small Stipple Brush

I just picked a brush to see just how much I could do with one. It wasn’t so great with foundation, but it worked well with concealer (but only if you don’t have anything else). It did work really will with the powder bronzer though.

For buying a small amount of makeup at a drugstore, this mini haul was a definite thumbs up for me.

I’d love to hear from you guys! I’m sorry I’ve been away, but I’m trying my best!! Feel free to comment below what you think of these products, or if you just want to chat!

Hope all is well 🙂

BareMinerals Palette

Hello there beautiful beings. I recently received this in the mail yesterday from my amazing and super thoughtful mom. It’s the BareMinerals Thank you, You’re so Sweet 8 Piece Eye Shadow Palette. If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen the unboxing. If not, you’ll see the picture below!

The box comes with 8 shimmery BareMineral eyeshadows. They’re very pigmented and look great on! The colors in the box really match with the entire theme, which is SO cute. From the minute I opened the box, I immediately fell in love. The box, theme, and colors are adorable and for how much product you get out of each pot, you can’t beat it. For an $88 value, this set is only $36 at Ulta Stores. I swatched a few of my favorites below!

Yeah, I tried that thing where you put tape down to swatch these perfect lines but clearly, they’re not even at all so oh well. Anyways, these 4 are my favorite of the 8. As you can see, these colors are beautifully pigmented and shimmery. They look amazing on the eyes, which I’ll show you in a new look coming soon (hopefully soon lol).

I definitely recommend looking into buying this set. It’s definitely worth the money, especially since it’s at a lower value than what it would be to buy these colors individually.

Let me know if you try it/already have it, and tell me what you think!

Ipsy Bag Review!

Hi there! Every month, I receive an Ipsy bag filled with samples of different products. This month, I was very happy with what I got (like usual). There’s a picture of everything at the top of this, and I’ll make sure to put the brands so you can look for it! If you don’t have Ipsy, you should definitely look into it! Do that here.

  1. NYX Professional Makeup: Butter Lipstick in Ripe Berry
  2. IBY Beauty: Highlighter in Bubbly
  3. Elizabeth Mott: Whatup Beaches Matte Bronzer
  4. BeFine Food Skin Care: Gentle Face Cleanser
  5. Luxie Beauty: Luxie Rose Gold Blush Brush 514

Everyone hears about the new NYX lipstick lines are amazing. I was happy to get this one because it was the last line I had to try. This is amazing. It’s so creamy and very pigmented, and it gives you a bold, red lip that adds a pop to any look.

I, personally, have never heard of IBY Beauty before. I was really impressed with their highlighter. The color is beautiful, it’s very pigmented, and it’s buildable. You can have a soft glow, or add a few layers to have a more intense highlight.

I’ve also never heard of Elizabeth Mott before, but as with the highlighter, I was very impressed. The bronzer is a perfect mix between a contour shade and the bronzer shade. I tried to use this for contouring and it was great, I just wish I had a bigger size to really test it out.

BeFine Food Skin Care is another new brand for me. My skin is really weird. I usually have clear, soft skin, but recently I’ve had dry patches on my face. Using this has helped clear the patches and really moisturize my face.

Okay, this Luxie brush is amazing. It applies blush, highlighter, and bronzer beautifully. I mean just look at it, the rose gold is gorgeous. I definitely want to get more Luxie brushes soon.

Comment below if you get Ipsy and had thoughts on the products! Until next month, thanks for reading 🙂

Hauls/First Impressions

Valentine’s Day ?

I’ve recently bought/been gifted a few products, so I decided to share 🙂 I’ll link everything below, and put a picture of everything above!

Tarte: So my amazing and super thoughtful parents bought me a couple things from Tarte!

First, I loved the primer and lip paint. The primer smells good and feels feather light on your skin. The glossy lip paint is a beautiful, light color and I love the application. I loved the foundation; however, I need to get a lighter color (probably light sand). I haven’t used the brush yet, but I’m not sure if I’ll use it. I have a great foundation brush and after using a beauty blender to apply it, I really loved the look. It’s full coverage but feels light and creamy on the face.

itCosmetics: I finally gave in to the trend, and now I know what it’s all about.

I bought the travel size of this because I wanted to give the foundation a try before spending the money for a full-size bottle. I LOVE THIS STUFF. It has very buildable coverage and feels amazing on your face. The color matches my skin tone perfectly.

Makeup Revolution (only at Ulta): I’ve been looking for an eyeshadow palette to with a wide range of colors, and I wanted to try a drugstore brand first.

I was really excited about this product, but this wasn’t everything I was hoping for. There are too many glittery shadows, and they aren’t very pigmented. It’s okay if you’re in a crunch, but otherwise, I’d go for something else. I’m planning on trying either Morphe Palettes or another drugstore brand.

Benefit Cosmetics: I’ve tried this before, and after a long time, I am trying it again.

I can’t believe I went away from this product! It’s perfect for a quick but put together brow look.

Ulta Collection: Okay these are amazing.

If you’ve been wanting to try out the mini makeup sponges, do it. I cannot recommend these enough. They’re perfect for concealer! The 3 bigger sponges are great too!
